Went to Jalan Pasar last Saturday to buy the components for my FYP. I didn't buy a multimeter thinking there was no use of it and I can go to the lab to use it. But, I do need it for some simple measurements and I got no time to go to the lab.
Option 1:Cheap analog multimeter
Location: A shop at Jalan Pasar, KL
Price: RM 17.50
+ LRT's two-way tickets: RM3.40
+ Tasik Selatan car park: RM3.00
+ Sg. Besi Toll (two-way): RM2.60
+ Drinks: RM2.50
+ Car fuel: RM10
Total: RM39
Note: Probably it has been in the shop since 1967.
Going to KL is a waste of time, energy and money.
Option 2:
Cheap digital multimeter
Location: www.lelong.com.my
Price: RM15.00
+Shipping: RM5.00 (registered mail)
Total: RM20
Note: Just a few clicks away. 30000 units available hahah. Bought this one. And the seller shipped it early this morning. My first item bought from Lelong.
Oh wait, I'm short of a couple of 1000µF (Myléne Farmer) capacitors.
