Just got back from 2009 Bon Odori Festival at the Panasonic Sport Complex Stadium, Shah Alam. Met up with the guys from xmorfis.net. Just like last year (this was my 2nd time coming the festival), the stadium was packed with Japanese, Malays, Chinese, Indians, Bangladeshians (the factory workers), Nepalese (the factory guards), Indonesians (probably), Celupnese, Weaboos, Wotas (around 20), and some stupid guys who think there were cool enough hitting each other with the fans and screaming like chickens.
So as the dancers started to dance the for the first performance, and all the non-Japanese rushing to the main stage and bending their backsides with their SLRs to take the pictures, we, the guys from xmorfis started to follow the dance. And later, others started to follow.
While dancing, of course, everyone was starting to sweat and suddenly I accidentally hit a boy and her mother was screaming like she had a pair of testicles grown on herself "Cho kuso!" three times and I counted that so that if I want to punch her, I will know how many wallop I should give her. Hello, we're attracted to your culture and you've spoiled it. If you don't want to dance, don't stand in the field area.
I got my left foot cramped in the middle of the dancing that I couldn't move it. In the split second, while standing, I just push my foot to the ground just like the athletes do while sitting. And it recovered. But then my middle finger got cramped. That's because I kept giving the middle finger to the stupid group who thought they were cool enough hitting each other with the fans.
During the guest performer's performance, there were loud applauses given to the Malaysian dance troupe. I didn't bother to see it. Prolly some kids performing Zapin. Zapin is a cool dance. Barrack Obama wanted to register his daughters for Zapin but of course since it's not American, someone prohibited it.
This year we did not get to take pictures side-by-side with the dancers as of last year. The RELA guys made a path for them to get out from the field directly after the performance ended. While taking pictures from the sides, my M. Misaki - looking favorite dancer just passed me while I'm waiting for my camera flash to re-charge. Demmit camera!
And yeah we celebrated Michishige Sayumi's birthday too. Thanks to Mr. Slayn for providing the cake although he himself was absent. Here are some of the pictures from the 2009 Bon Odori. Not in a particular order. It's 2.04 am and my brain neurons have depleted.

All picture can be reproduce anywhere with proper credits. Not messing with the watermarks is good enough.

Sayumi's cake sponsored by Mr. Slayn.

This will be my copy of AKB48 Namida Surprise but I'm currently lack of fund to pay for it. Why don't you click on the Google Ad and help me buy the single. Currently I have $0.40.
