FAIYA!!! FAIYA!!!

Spock and Spock.

While watching Star Trek (2009) last night, the light in my room suddenly became blinking-ly dimmed and my voltage regulator for my PC became unstable. My head started to construct offensive word for TNB for the bad quality of electrical supply for the night. It became worst and I quickly starting to switch it off. But failed at the last minute where the PC hanged due to the lack of power. But there was no blackout. Only surges.

Then I heard weird sounds from outside and I quickly ran to the living room and from there I saw fire burning the tomyam restaurant just across the street. Warning: Karangan Kebakaran di Rumah Saya after the jump.

So I yelled хумхаа євчин! хумхаа євчин! which means FIRE in Mongolian. My after who was relaxing on the bad jumped in shocked and hanged to the ceiling LOL. I went out and saw neighbors running towards the fire. Due to my competitive nature, I beat them all in the run. Unfortunately, I wasn't the first to be there.

The fire was quickly-spread and fierce. Since next to the restaurant is a kedai santan, the coconut husks and dried copras helped the fire to spread quickly. Everyone was running everywhere when the electric cabel started to explode.

Only managed to snap off few pictures after the fire. That was only the second time I went out. The first time was during the fire which I was busy saving other people lives. I'm more interested with the firetrucks. It's like a Swiss Army knife. It's red and have everything in it. Like in the picture, a tall spotlight was raised from INSIDE the truck. What else the truck have? A bottle opener? An 8GB USB thumbdrive? Ogawa Massager?

I did not bring my camera to capture the event because I'm thinking of other important matters such as being the first person to be on the scene and urmmm... saving lives? I'm a superhero bebeh! I went there only with my sarong and without any secondary protective layer of undergarment to protect my man-thing from outside interference. OMG what am I thinking? I can probably got raped last night!

The firemen came like after the fire spread all over the shop. It was not one firetruck arrived. And it wasn't two either. In fact there were 3 firetrucks and one tanker came. Hell, the must have nothing to do that night so they all decided to come to their favorite breakfast spot. After they've extinguished the fire I went home, continuing Star Trek. But then, it went blackout. I went out again with my phone to capture what's left. Should brought my digicam but I don't want to look like someone who enjoy taking pictures of someone else's misfortune. The electricity was cut off to allow the TNB guy to disable the wiring to the restaurant.

A job which is comparable with being a celebrity. Who have your time in the spotlight and everyone was watching to what you're doing.

Yes, the restaurant is famous. At night and especially in the morning where they served Kelantanese breakfast of Nasi Dagang, Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Putih, Nasi Lemak, and Kelantanese delicacies. I even bought breakfast yesterday morning since it's the nearest consumable nasi lemak I have. And about the special treatment from the firemen, they usually had breakfast there. It's weird seing a firetruck in front of a restaurant in the morning and saw firemen in their suits having their breakfast there.

And yes the restaurant is really famous the neighbourhood had to deal with the massive traffic caused by their customer.

From what I heard, foul play is suspected in the fire. Winona Ryder looks really ogly (old and ugly) in Star Trek.
